Marie-Louise Hohenbühel

Marie-Louise Hohenbühel is a MSc candidate in International Law and Security at NOVA School of Law (NSL), and recent graduate from the ‘Summer Space Program 2023’ (SSP23) at the International Space University. Ms. Hohenbühel holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics, with a major in strategy from Maastricht University.

Ms. Hohenbühel served as a Diplomatic Advisor for the Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta at the United Nations in New York, where she specialized on humanitarian and environmental affairs, as well as security issues. Prior to this Ms. Hohenbühel worked in the field of International Trade and Finance within the Strategic Development Department at DRUM Advisory. She is a member of the ‘Space Generation Advisory Council’ and spend a some time as a policy and law guest researcher at the Austrian Space Forum (OeWF).

  • Guest Lecturer at LUMSA University in Rome, Italy, specifically tailored to Bachelor students in Security and Strategic Studies, April 2023.
  • Co-organizer of two side events at the UN Waterconference 2023, promoted by the Permanent Observer Mission of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, titled “Water Action and Human Rights: Implementing the Human Rights to Water and Sanitation at the Local Level” and – “Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Healthcare Facilities: Lesson Learned and the Way Forward”, March 22nd – 24th 2023.
