Sara Pinto Ferreira

Sara Pinto Ferreira is a Harvard Law School LL.M. graduate (Class of 2020) and Fulbright Scholar (awarded in 2018).
Registered in the Portuguese Bar Association since 2021, Sara is currently finishing a master’s degree on Arbitration and Litigation at NOVA School of Law and completing the New York Bar.
Sara plans to specialise in Public International Law and to be in contact with international trade and commerce, international litigation and arbitration in order to develop an understanding of international law, of the interconnections between its different fields and its relationship to domestic law.
Sara worked as a trainee lawyer at Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA) at the Information, Communication & Technology area of practice where she has been involved in several transactions.
Having graduated from NOVA School of Law as top of her class, Sara has participated in and done several courses and internships, having developed a keen interest in space law. Sara attended the ECSL Summer Course on Space Law and Policy (2016), besides doing an internship at the European Space Agency (2017) and being responsible for NOVA School of Law’s organizational side of the European Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition (2018).
